About The Breeders Crown
The Breeders Crown is an annual series of Standard Bred Horse races in North America, covering each of the sport's twelve traditional categories of age, gait and gender.

The main Divisions of Breeders Crown races with purses are:
  1. Open Trot: $600,000:   
  2. Mare Trot: $250,000:  
  3. Open Pace: $500,000:  
  4. Mare Pace $300,000:  
  5. 2-year-olds $600,000:  
  6. 3-year-old $500,000
These races are all contested by either trotting or pacing horses at the classic 1 mile distance.

There is also an Australasian Breeders Crown series. The
Tabcorp Australasian Breeders Crown showcases the best two, three and four-year-old pacers and trotters in Australia and New Zealand.

There is also a Breeders Crown in Sweden. Breeders’ Crown is an international concept taken from the U.S.A. to Sweden in 1991. Behind this unique series stands The Swedish Trotting Association (Svensk Travsport), The Swedish Horse Race Totalisator Board (ATG), breeders, stallion owners/agents, owners and sponsors.
